Welcome to Catuvellauni

The Oly Cats in short:

Olympic Catuvellauni (pronounced Cat-oo-well-orn-ee) is a modern multi-discipline sports club structured around modern beliefs and values, was founded by Chris Rivett in June 2013.

The formation of Olympic Catuvellauni, abbreviated to the Oly Cats, was inspired by the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The Olympic aspect of the name is taken from the club’s inspiration whilst Catuvellauni is a nod to the Celtic tribe that emerged in ancient Britain to become one of the most powerful tribes in Southern England.

Handball was the first team sport to come under the Olympic Catuvellauni umbrella. The most recent, the third, was futsal.
